🌑 The Inspiration: A Garden at Midnight

The moon shines on a patch of lilies, turning them silver. The air is cold and heavy with the scent of night-blooming jasmine and earth. Midnight Moonlily takes the bright 2021 AdP DNA and dips it in ink. It is mysterious, seductive, and deeply alluring—the shadow side of the spring flower.

🧪 The Olfactory Architecture: Chiaroscuro

The fragrance opens with a dark Bitter Orange and Pink Pepper. The heart is a narcotic mix of Lily of the Valley, Night-Blooming Jasmine, and Rose Absolute. It is heady and thick. The base is Dark Patchouli, Black Amber, and Musk, creating a velvety, mysterious trail that lasts all night.

🌿 Raw Material Sourcing: The Dark Arts

  • Jasmine Sambac Absolute: Sourced for its heady, animalic, and fruity floralcy.
  • Patchouli Indonesia: A dark, chocolatey variety that adds depth to the dry down.
  • Cistus Labdanum: Provides a leathery, amber warmth.

🧠 The Scent Psychology: Mystery and Attraction

Contrast (light florals on a dark base) triggers curiosity and attraction. Midnight Moonlily makes you appear complex and intriguing. It is a scent of allure and secrets.

🇬🇧 The London Lab Technology

We used Time-Release Fixatives that trap the lighter lily molecules in the heavy resins. This allows the floral heart to "flash" periodically throughout the night, creating a mesmerizing, pulsating scent trail.

✨ The Application Ritual

When to wear: Evening events, winter nights, or romantic encounters.
Where to spray: Pulse points—wrists, neck, and behind the ears.
Style pairing: Black silk, velvet, silver jewelry.

💭 From the Perfumer's Diary

"This is the 'Gothic' version of Lily. I wore this to a premiere at the BFI, and the mix of the cool night air with the dark amber base was intoxicating. It’s the most seductive lily in the lab."
