Fragrance Notes and Development

Top notes: Incense and Cardamom. Incense creates the first impression, while Cardamom adds brightness, spice, fruit or texture. The opening is most noticeable during the first 15–30 minutes.

Heart notes: Brazilian rosewood, Papyrus, and Patchouli. As the opening softens, Brazilian rosewood becomes the centre of the fragrance. Papyrus and Patchouli gives the middle its floral, woody, aromatic or textural character.

Base notes: Oakmoss, Tobacco leaves, and Oud. Oakmoss anchors the drydown, while Tobacco leaves and Oud adds warmth, dryness, softness or depth. This stage remains after the brighter top notes fade.
